Michelle Ashby MCIPD has spent over 20 years working at the intersection of recruitment, HR, leadership and culture, both agency side and in-house, across some of the world's most recognised brands and fastest growing businesses.
She has recruited, developed and coached thousands of people. She has built teams from scratch, designed people infrastructure for scaling businesses, and worked alongside founders and CEOs navigating some of the most challenging moments in their growth journey — including a Steven Bartlett company and one of Europe's fastest growing digital consultancies, as named by the Financial Times UK.
Most recently, she was helicoptered in to bridge a critical gap for a global beauty brand — recruiting 14 people across all levels in just three months, while embedding as an extension of their internal team.
Along the way, Michelle noticed a pattern. The businesses that struggled weren't short of ambition or strategy — they were missing the people infrastructure to execute it. And the individuals who were underperforming or disengaged weren't lacking talent — they were in the wrong environment, the wrong culture, or the wrong role entirely.
